Most of us couldn’t define the word passion, but we know it when we see it.

Modern dictionary definitions describe it as “a strong emotion or conviction that compels us to action.” It’s usually expressed in emotional ways and, by definition, it’s seen in our actions.

I found an old proverb that says “Our passions are the winds that propel our vessel.” In other words, passion motivates us and even propels us to act. And it sustains us to keep acting when circumstances make it hard to.
